Palladium has recently emerged as a fantastic alternative to gold or platinum. Its composition, almost identical to Platinum, coupled with its affordability, is propelling its use in fine jewelry. As recently as 2001, Palladium was more expensive than Platinum and rarely used in jewelry due to the technical obstacle of casting. However, the casting problem has been resolved, and its use in jewelry has increased because of a large spike in the price of platinum and a drop in the price of palladium. Like other precious metals, recycled Palladium is available and is being used to create gorgeous jewelry with the highest standard of sustainability as possible.
